THE MUIRHEAD'S :

Dear friends,

Greetings, in the name of Jesus. We continue to thank God for his faithfulness and favour to us. As we continue to serve Him, we wish to express our thanks and appreciation to the Lord for the opportunities we have had to serve Him as follows:

    1. Pastor's Conference As a member of an organisation called "Pastors in Action", I was involved in the planning and coordination of a National Pastor's Conference (July 22-23, 2004) entitled "Advancing the Kingdom with Power". The primary speaker was a pastor Sunday Adelajah from the Ukraine. Dr Gary Kellner also made presentations at the conference. The conference was well attended, and the pastors and leaders who attended were powerfully impacted.
    2. National Prayer Rally I was also privileged to be a part of a committee that was responsible for planning a National day of prayer for the nation, called Ball Out 2, which was held 2004-08-13. The Prayer Rally was held at the St. William Grant Park in Kingston. The attendance was much stronger than expected, and it was felt that the objectives were fully achieved. An additional perios of fasting and prayer will be observed between now and the end of October.
    3. Ministry in Barbados In response to an invitation from a church in Barbados, I travelled with some of the members of my praise and worship team, to minister and teach under the theme "Kingdom Driven Praise". Our son John Muirhead, was asked to remain in Barbados as additional month, to assist in the development of their praise and worship ministry.

Our daughter Joanna, who is serving as a missionary at the ICCL in the Ukraine, continues to enjoy God's favour. We covet your prayers for her.

The Lord continues to bless the ministry of our church in Jamaica. Among other programmes, we continue to feed the children (150-200 children on Firday evenings each week), and to provide a monthly Medical Clinic and Home Work Centre.
